Residential

Residence Manager

Supervises and coordinates the complete running of a residence serving developmentally disabled adults. Position includes oversight of all staff members (including clinical). Direct reporting responsibilities to the program coordinator and director of residential services. Responsible for the paper work, financial issues, and physical plant issues associated with the residence. Also responsible for full regulatory compliance and welfare of individuals living at the residence and maintaining good relations with the family members. 

Qualifications Include: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Health/Human Service related Field
  • Two years MR/DD and supervisory experience
  • A valid, clean NYS Driver’s License

Direct Support Professional                                                                              

As a member of the IDT you will help the people we serve develops their level of independence in all areas.  This may involve helping in areas of self-care (toileting/showering/eating/money skills, etc.), community involvement and social/recreational areas.  Accompany, participate and advocate for consumers at any community related appointments. Staff must work with and keep data on goals/outcomes developed, participate in IDT meetings, work as a member of a team, attend training and insure the safety and well-being of the people we serve. 

Qualifications Include: 

  • High School Diploma
  • MR/DD experience preferred

Vocational

 

Supported Employment Coordinator

Responsible for training and supervision mobile crew workers; training Job Coach Staff; Daily planning and oversight of all aspects of mobile crew day to day operations; timely and accurate completion of all paperwork.

Qualifications Include: 

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree plus one year experience working with adult developmental disabilities in an employment or vocational setting

Vocational Training Counselor

Maintain Accurate and updated consumer records; Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team; Review consumer's progress and needs with the vocational training coordinator; Provide counseling/support to help individual relate his/her skills/aptitudes/interests/strengths and limitations to a realistic vocational objective.

  • BA/BS or AA/AS in a Health related field

Medicaid Service Coordination

Medicaid Service Coordinators

Work with developmentally disabled consumers and their families to develop service plans, linkage of services, advocate and follow up with progress to insure that all necessary supports and services are being received. Must have some knowledge of the human services programs delivery programs to network, research and explore resources. Must keep exemplary notes for cases and billing purposes. Must travel to consumer sites on a regular basis. 

Qualifications Include: 

  • AA/AS or BA/BS  in Health/ Human Services related field
  • 2 years MR/DD experience   Bi-Lingual Spanish or Russian a plus
  • A valid, clean NYS Driver’s License is a plus
